Anneslie is a community of neighbors that care about each other, our homes, our schools, and our safety. The Anneslie Community Association Board encourages participation of the community for the community. The Board and an army of volunteers plan and sponsor year-round events and provide valuable resources for its dues paying members.
Payment of membership dues IS VOLUNTARY. However attendance at community sponsored events & receipt of the Newsletter and Directory Requires Paying Your Dues to help cover their cost. Please support Your Community and send in your check promptly (payable to Anneslie Community Association). We've made it easy for you! Click the link below to print your dues notice and help support the many events the community association organizes.
WE'RE ON OUR WAY! The first part of the nomination process for the National Register Nomination Section 8 for Anneslie is nearly complete. This includes the historical context of Anneslie. You can view the preliminary History of Anneslie by clicking the link below.
The second part is currently underway and we’ll look for its completion late Spring. We have every confidence in preservation Officer Leah Burch at the Maryland Department of Planning for the Maryland Historical Trust who is preparing Anneslie’s application for placement on the National Historic Register.
The Greater Towson Area has seen a recent uptick in Crime. Things like robberies and break-ins are being reported more often. Jim Dobson, who heads the Anneslie COP is looking for volunteers to fill out our Citizens On Patrol schedule, and has written an article that will appear in the upcoming Anneslie Times. If you're interested in Volunteering for the COP please click here. Volunteers are usually asked to volunteer 2 hours of their team each month... more if they desire.
We're pleased to announce the arrival of our new photo gallery. It's only got a few images in it from our christmas decoration contests but we look to be adding to it. Members will have the ability to uplaod their images from community events and help us fill things out!
We've created a Candid Neighborhood Picture Gallery. Soon Members will be able to upload their images to this gallery.
* If you have images you would like to see in the gallery and ad on the home page let me know.
Other features like the classifieds and contractor referrals will return soon.
(I apologize to everyone who got multiple copies of my email about the site!)
The Anneslie Community Association is looking for businesses interested in becoming members of the Association. In return for their sponsorship of the neighborhood, the business would receive a listing on the community web site and newsletter. Your ad will appear on our classifieds, contractor referrals and home pages.
One of the biggest challenges facing the community association is participation. We're always looking for volunteers to help out with different community events. Our question is are you interested in helping?
Please follow up with your suggestions and with what committees you are most interested in helping out with.
*There is no need to post contact information if the information is up to date in your profile.
