Ashlar Hills Herring Run Stream Clean-up

TBD

10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay Project Clean Stream program coordinates tens of thousands of volunteers to pick up trash from local streams. Anneslie has adopted a tributary of the Herring Run in the  Ashlar Hills community for its annual clean-up effort.  Volunteers will discover how their everyday decisions affect the overall health of their local waterways. Make a difference for the Chesapeake Bay!

  • Gloves and trash bags are provided.

  • Bring a water bottle and sunscreen.

  • Dress to get wet and dirty!

  • Sturdy boots are recommended to navigate the stream bank.  Long pants and long sleeves are recommended for protection against ticks and poison ivy.

Meet in the parking lot of St. Andrews Lutheran Church 1201 Taylor Avenue, Parkville., MD 21234

From Taylor Ave, turn south onto Collinsdale Ave to access the parking lot behind the church.
